NOR-WAY Bussekspress chooses NOVA as supplier of new sales and ticketing solution
NOR-WAY Bussekspress, one of Norway's leading express bus operators, has chosen NOVA as the supplier of its new, innovative ticketing and sales solution. With its 12 routes covering large parts of southern Norway, the company transports around 1 million passengers annually. NOR-WAY is owned by key public transport operators in Norway and has a solid reputation in the market for reliable and efficient travel experiences.
As part of its strategy for digital modernization, NOR-WAY has decided to upgrade its existing ticketing system. NOVA will deliver solutions that provide passengers with more user-centered services and an even more user-friendly experience, while digitalization contributes to more efficient and smooth operations. The new ticketing system will not only improve the customer experience but also help optimize the company's internal processes. NOR-WAY will thus be able to offer a wider range of products and services to its travelers.
Two of the companies in the NOVA Group; Novacare and Northern Beat, will in the first phase deliver both user experience and system implementation. The project includes a new travel planner and ticketing solution for both web and app, as well as a new internal application for the company's drivers.
This collaboration marks an important step in NOR-WAY's digital transformation and strengthens their position as a leading player in public transport in Norway.
