We are on stage at NDC Oslo 2025

Professional enrichment, honest stories, and genuine joy of sharing.

NDC Oslo is one of Europe's leading conferences for developers, bringing together professionals for five days of learning, inspiration, and community. Here, some of the industry's top experts gather - and this year we are proud that three of our own are on stage to share their knowledge and experiences.

In addition to the speakers, we also have a solid group participating from the audience. Many of our employees travel to NDC to gain professional input, share experiences, and stay updated on the latest in technology and development. For us, this is an important meeting place - both for learning and relationship building.

Being selected for NDC means you have something relevant and important to convey - and that you do it in a way that resonates. When Marianne, Tomas, and Tom Erik take the stage, they represent not only their own expertise but also our culture of sharing, reflection, and learning.

Marianne Wahlstrøm: Why lead yourself?

Marianne Wahlstrøm, general manager at Novanet

On Wednesday, May 21, Marianne, general manager at Novanet will give a lightning talk about something many can relate to: the feeling of going on autopilot in everyday life. She challenges us to take control - not just over our task lists, but over the way we live and work. It's about taking ownership of your own everyday life and making conscious choices that make sense.

"I don't necessarily like being on stage - but when I have a message I believe can make a difference, I am happy to share it. I have personally experienced how powerful it is to live in alignment with who you are. Now I hope to inspire others to make brave choices - and give them the tools they need to achieve their own goals."
— Marianne Wahlstrøm, CEO of Novanet

Tomas Hensrud Gulla: More than 70 years of AI - in 15 minutes

Tomas Gulla, CTO at Novacare

On Thursday, May 22, Tomas, CTO at Novacare gives us a lightning-fast and engaging introduction to artificial intelligence - from the 1950s, and perhaps even earlier, up to today. The lecture provides perspective on today's AI development and shows that we stand on the shoulders of decades of research, experimentation, and progress.

"There is little doubt that the development in artificial intelligence is moving quickly these days. There is always something new! But if we zoom out far enough - really far out - I find it interesting that the big lines, and applications for artificial intelligence, have actually remained quite unchanged for several decades." — Tomas Hensrud Gulla, CTO at Novacare

Tom Erik Frydenlund: Burnout from the top - a story about falling, learning, and rising again

Tom Erik Frydenlund, general manager at Novacare

On Friday, May 23, Tom Erik, CEO of Novacare, shares his personal story from the stage - about how it feels when the pressure becomes too much, and what happens when a leader hits the wall. The lecture is about recognizing the signs, taking responsibility, and finding the way back. It is an honest reflection on leadership, vulnerability, and balance.

We need more openness about this. As leaders, we have a particular responsibility to show that we are not infallible. That we also face resistance, feel the pressure - and that it's perfectly okay to say it out loud.

Tom Erik Frydenlund, general manager at Novacare

He hopes the lecture can help make it a little easier for others to put into words what they are going through - or perhaps prevent someone from ending up there at all:
"If what I say can make the way back a little less lonely for someone - then that is most important of all." — Tom Erik Frydenlund, CEO of Novacare

We believe in the value of sharing knowledge, and conferences like NDC provide space for both reflection and professional community. We wish Marianne, Tomas, and Tom Erik good luck on stage, and we look forward to following them - together with the rest of our colleagues - throughout the week. Are you also at NDC? Feel free to get in touch - we look forward to many good conversations along the way.
