Nova aims for the billion
The expanding agency group Nova starts the year by acquiring the Nordic region's leading Wordpress agency, Dekode Interaktiv, and the Norwegian digital agency Egde Consulting.
With the two Norwegian acquisitions, the group strengthens its digital offering in the Scandinavian market. The acquisitions mean that Nova now has an annual revenue rate of just over 800 million kronor and has more than 600 employees.
- We kickstart the new year by acquiring two major Norwegian digital agencies. Through them, we take a big step towards becoming a Scandinavian digital billion-dollar company. We also still see strong growth in our companies for the coming year. The strengthening with the new digital specialists in Dekode and Egde provides a good foundation for continued expansion in both Sweden and Norway, says Michael Jäderlind, CEO of Nova Consulting Group in Sweden.
Employees co-owners
Nova buys the majority of shares in the Nordic region's leading Wordpress agency, Dekode Interaktiv and Egde Consulting. At the same time, the companies' founders and partners continue as co-owners. In addition, employees will now have the opportunity to become co-owners. A principle that applies in all Nova's companies and has attracted many to the agency group.
- The two new companies now, together with Nova, gain access to a large network of expertise within the entire digital ecosystem. This gives all of Nova the opportunity to deliver even more value to our customers, says Michael Jäderlind, CEO of Nova Consulting Group in Sweden.
Increased geographical presence
- Through Egde, we gain a stronger geographical presence in Southern Norway, which has been our goal for some time. It also gives us a good starting point for future expansion throughout Norway. Thanks to Dekode, we gain additional specialist knowledge in Wordpress, an area that is growing strongly in Europe, says Geir Allan Hove, founder and CEO of Nova Consulting Group.
