With new digital tools, companies can more easily measure the strength of their brands without using costly market research. In a simple way and almost for free, they can find out how the brand stands in relation to their competitors and also predict future demand.

Through the method of share of search, which is based on free search data from Google, companies can make faster market analyses. They also get a better basis for decision-making to invest in their brands. Something that is becoming increasingly important as studies show that strong brands withstand tougher times better than others.

At the Swedish Trade's e-commerce fair D-Congress, Tobias Brandt, strategy manager at the branding agency Singular Studios and Björn Bydén, SEO manager at Pineberry talk about how this works in practice and show examples from Swedish e-retailers.
