Norwegian NOVA agency defies industry model – shortlisted for two European awards

Rocket, the Norwegian media agency within NOVA Consulting Group, has been shortlisted in two major categories at the European Agency Awards 2026: Best Small Agency of the Year and Innovative Agency of the Year.

From the very beginning, Rocket has challenged the traditional agency model. Instead of relying on junior staff to handle high volumes of work, the agency is made up entirely of 15 senior consultants.

To scale its impact without compromising quality, Rocket has developed a proprietary technology platform featuring more than 30 internal AI tools. This #DataFirst approach automates data-heavy processes, real-time competitor monitoring, and routine tasks, enabling the team to work more efficiently while maintaining a high level of expertise.

Norwegian companies need to rely on technology rather than simply throwing another consultant at a problem. Our DNA as a technology-oriented startup within NOVA Consulting Group has been the foundation that made this possible.

Magnus Strømnes Bøe, CEO of Rocket

By letting custom technology handle the groundwork, Rocket's senior advisors can focus entirely on strategy, creativity, and delivering measurable value for their clients. The model is now proving its strength as Rocket competes with some of Europe's largest and most established agencies.

We are incredibly proud of the team and look forward to the award ceremony in Ibiza.
